True Blood: 'Who Are You, Really?' (6x01)

Season premiere time! I've been watching True Blood for a few years, not since it has aired but for awhile. Each year it gets crazier and crazier, introducing new mythical creatures like were-panters and faeries....hopefully this season won't disappoint! I had to watch on HBO Go, but that was better than watching on some streaming site, still no HBO at home!

One problem I had is that I don't really remember too well what happened last season, but I decided to just go with it. It came back to me when Eric and Sookie were trying to escape the Authority headquarters- escaping from Bilith! (Bill drank all of Lilith's blood and somehow turned into her/got her powers.) They get trapped in an elevator... and we go to Jason, Nora, Tara, Jessica, and Pam, who have all been able to escape from the Authority and Bilith. Sookie and Eric have been able to miraculously escape in the meantime and drive over in an SUV to pick them up. Who knows how they got out of that elevator.

Bill makes it out of the burning building, but does not chase after them, and they escape and drive away. Pam and Eric have some conflict- she doesn't know who Nora is, and is very upset with Eric when he says that Nora is his sister because he never told Pam anything about her. Nora and Eric get information out of Jason about Warlow, who is the vampire that killed Jason and Sookie's parents, and was also mentioned in the book of Lilith.

Tara, who is Pam's progeny, tries to comfort her. Pam puts up her badass bitch front for as long as possible, but then hugs Tara. It's a very sweet moment, and I don't even like Tara that much!

Jason gets super mad because he thinks Sookie keeps taking the vampires' side and choosing them over him, and gets mad and just leaves all of them.

Jessica, who is Bill's progeny, feels him calling her, and when Eric tries to stop her from going she gets very sick and throws up blood. Sookie agrees to go with Jess to Bill, because of the relationship she had with him.

They follow the 'pull' that Jessica has and find him at his house, seemingly normal, yet creepily lurking in a chair on the porch. When Eric shows up to protect Sookie, Bill gets out of control and is strangling Eric and Sookie tries to stake him!! Far cry from where she has been before always going back to Bill no matter what. And I'm very happy about it- always been on 'Team Eric.' Jessica decides she'll stay with Bill, and he orders everyone else to leave.

Sookie and Eric go to her home, which Eric had bought and kept the deed to, but he gives it back to her and signs it over to her. After he did that, she rescinded her invitation to him and out he went.

Andy Bellefleur is convinced to take care of his babies by Arlene and Terry. I however, forgot that he even had children. When he wakes up in the morning, the kids have aged 4ish years within the span of one night! Not really sure what's going on there.

Sam Merlotte's shapeshifting girlfriend was killed when they were escaping the Authority as well, and now it seems like Sam is responsible for looking after her young daughter.

Jason hitched a ride when he stormed off, and guess who he ends up in car with?? It's Warlow!!! Now we know what he looks like, but wonder what his purpose is and if he's going to play a big role this season.

Oh yeah and there was some stuff with Alcide being the new pack master of the werewolves but that was all kind of boring and has no relevance to the main plot so far. Just lots of naked people.

I think this looks like an exciting season so far and I'll stay away from spoilers. But I'm not sure what I'm going to do if a few weeks when Dexter begins airing at the same time as True Blood! So many shows, so little time!
